Da Repubblica.it we learn of some difficulties about the construction of the Christmas Village in Piazza Garibaldi. Some technical-bureaucratic delays could put the project at risk. There may not be enough time to set up the whole structure and the initiative could slip to Easter, also because there is the idea of keeping the village active all year round with various events.

It seems that a big news will affect Naples for the Christmas : the project of a maxi Christmas Village, Entitled "the Stalls at Piazza Garibaldi"To be set up in Piazza Garibaldi with many stands, gazebos, lights and activities to make the December festivities unique.
The structure should be built atoutside of the Central Station, in the area affected by the recent restyling that helped to redevelop the station itself and the surrounding area, and the idea is that of a continuous opening, 24 hours on 24. If the Municipality project comes to life, it will be an additional attraction for the many tourists who increasingly arrive in the city and who will invade the streets of the historic center and beyond during the Christmas period.
We still have no official confirmation, but as soon as they arrive we will communicate them in the article. Meanwhile, according to Stigeta, theadvertising agency that is head of the project, the works should be completed in time to better celebrate Christmas and turn on the party lights in one of the most important squares in Naples.
The Christmas Village at Piazza Garibaldi
In the Central Station Village, according to the project, one of the main attractions will be the big one ice rink wide 16 meters and long 30 meters that will entertain large and children. The village of Piazza Garibaldi, according to the intentions of the municipality, will be just one of the events that will involve the whole city.
