Ancient sites and evocative landscapes can be visited during a guided tour with an aperitif at the Terme di Baia!

The Curiocity association, in its intention to make known the beauties of Naples and its surroundings, will lead the visitors, the 6 September 2015in the suggestive archaeological site of the Terme di Baia.

The visit falls within the scope of Malazè, the archeo-gastronomic tour discovering the Phlegraean Fields.
THEancient Baiae, small fraction of Bacoli, one of the marine locations halfway between Pozzuoli and Capo Miseno, among woods of myrtle, elci and quercioli, was among the nicest in Naples, was famous for the presence of healing thermal waters and for the beauty of its landscapes, praised by poets and writers.

For this reason it became an important holiday and resting place of the Roman aristocracy, whose presence is testified by its large archaeological park, which contains the remains of sumptuous villas,  patrician residences need  thermal plants, whose warm waters cured various diseases. The complex, however, was above all a place where people lounged and relaxed.

At the end of the guided tour, visitors will go to a port bar, where a delicious aperitif on a panoramic terrace on the Gulf of Baia.

Schedule: Appointment at 17.00 pm at the entrance of the Terme di Baia archaeological site. The guided tour will start at 17,30 pm

Ticket prices: contribution per person (including guide, entrance ticket to the site and aperitif) € 10 per person (entrance to the site is free)
