The suggestive guided tour "Neapolis and its historical wonders" to discover a new and beautiful city!
The history of Naples and its beauties will be the absolute protagonists of the cultural journey "Neapolis and its historical wonders" scheduled for Saturday January 10 2015.
The initiative, following the success obtained in its first edition, will be re-proposed and organized by Megaride, the body that for years has been involved in promulgating, developing and organizing cultural and professional updating activities in Naples.
The itinerary will be dislocated in the historical center, in the so-called "belly" of the city. Specifically, the journey will start from the monastic complex of San Gregorio Armeno undisputed example of the Baroque in Naples.
We will continue through the Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, a treasure of French Gothic architecture and home to the Cappellone di Sant'Antonio, a masterpiece signed by the famous Cosimo Fanzago.
You will then come to the Church of San Paolo Maggiore, located in Piazza San Gaetano, to end the exciting historical journey in the Church of the Real Monte Manso of Scala, open to the public for a few years and placed exceptionally on the third floor of a building, exactly in line with the magnificent Sansevero Chapel.
