Show Henry Cartier-Bresson

The Palazzo delle Arti (PAN) will host the photography exhibition " The Mind's Eye " dedicated to Henry Cartier-Bresson. The exhibition will feature 54 works by the French photographer, representing the most important moments of the last century. It is precisely this approach to journalism through photography that has earned him the title of "the pioneer of photojournalism."

Free museums and special openings

The long-awaited initiative it provides is back free admission in the State Museums, in the galleries, in the Archaeological excavations, in the monumental gardens and in the parks.

Spring at the Gaiola

On May 1st, the Primavera alla Gaiola festival will begin, a series of events exploring the protected area within the Pausilypon Park and the Gaiola Underwater Park . Each event will focus on a different theme. On Sunday, a video about the marine protected area will be broadcast , and there will be a Concert for the Sea performed by the Pausilypon Acoustic Orchestra , made up of young musicians from the Naples Conservatory. Jazz at Court

The Campania International Jazz Day will be held at the Royal Palace, organized by the UNESCO Youth Committee of Campania, which, taking advantage of the event, will celebrate the Carolingian Year, inaugurated three hundred years after the death of Charles of Bourbon.

The musical event includes two appointments, in the first part you can listen to the music of the era of Charles of Bourbon , in the second part the Children's Choir of the San Carlo Theatre will perform “Classic in Jazz”.

Fireworks at Castel dell'Ovo

Due to inclement weather, the fanfare and fireworks display scheduled for April 25th have been postponed to May 1st. In the afternoon, you can admire the fanfare on Lungomare Caracciolo , and in the late evening, the fireworks will be held at Castel dell'Ovo . The main feature of the fireworks display is the use of the colors of the Italian flag to commemorate the national holiday of Liberation from Nazi-Fascism.
