At the start the seventh edition of the Festa del Mandrino at San Lorenzo Maggiore in Naples to celebrate the virtues of the much-loved citrus, with tastings, natural cosmetics and various events.
The mandarin, citrus fruit of a thousand virtues so loved by adults and children, is preparing to become the undisputed protagonist of the Mandarin Festival of the Phlegraean Fields, the event in which it will be possible to participate in the And 13 14 December 2018 at Monumental Complex of San Lorenzo Maggiore of Naples and, subsequently, in the symbolic places of the Campi Flegrei: Bacoli, Monte di Procida, Pozzuoli, Serrara Fontana and Lacco Ameno.
This is the seventh edition, organized by the non-profit association The Image of Myth and born from the need to re-evaluate the precious citrus and its excellent nutritional and organoleptic properties.
During the event it will be possible to taste foods based on mandarin (panettone, jams, juices, mandarins etc.), prepared by renowned pastry chefs and farms, and you can test cosmetics product made from natural tangerine (tonic water, toilet soap, perfume etc.).
There will also be an opportunity to get to know associations, cultural centers, schools and small productive realities engaged in the territory to save this precious fruit.
