Many events will accompany the 2018 chestnut festival in Salza Irpina with live music and many typical dishes
This year, the chestnut festival is in its 35th edition and will be held since 19 to 21 October 2018 in Salza Irpina, Avellino, with many events dedicated to fun and above all to taste. I will be open to the public food and wine stands, where it will be possible to participate in special tasting itineraries based on products and typical dishes of the traditional Salzese.
Not only taste: Saturday 20 will also be given space to the culture and the enhancement of the territory with a convention on the relationship between tourism development, events and gastronomy, which will be followed by a tasting workshop dedicated topairing between wine and chestnuts.
Two evenings of the event will also be enlivened by the Zeketam music, who will perform on Friday 19, and on the inspiration ofAchille Orchestra, which will take the stage on Saturday 20. On Sunday, on the other hand, the food and wine stands will open for lunch only. All events will take place in Piazza Michele Capozzi, in the heart of the city.
