One of Chekhov's most famous plays returns to Naples in all its splendid complexity

Al Stable Theater of Naples the great Russian theater returns with one of the most famous works by Anton Chekhov: Uncle Vanja.
And it is with the direction of Pierpaolo Sepe that the , prepares to welcome on the stage this deeply introspective work, where unhappiness and dissatisfaction dominate the scene, bringing together the various characters.
Work of extraordinary magnificence, second only to the even more famous "The Seagull".
The story takes place in the country estate of Professor Serebrjakov, inherited from the father of his now deceased wife, in which he lives with his daughter Sonja, mother-in-law and brother-in-law Uncle Vanja. A life deeply rooted in the Russian countryside, with the consequent monotony and repetitiveness that hinder its habits, fueling the sense of frustration and resignation in which they are all immersed, no one excluded.
A sensation of torpor that reaches the spectator with transparency thanks to the numerous long silences on stage that dominate the representation without ever boring.
Strong also the contrast between who, how Uncle Vanja and Sonja, so much has been sacrificed for that land, working to administer it without adequate economic or personal return, and those who, like Serebrjakov, have only benefited from it, undeserved.
Therefore numerous dialogues full of pessimism and regret on our part Uncle Vanja that will stimulate in the spectator so many reflections from the exquisitely existential character.
A show, therefore, absolutely not to be missed, which will not fail to make you experience the contrast between the bitterness of the protagonists and the spirit of entertainment inherent in a comedy, even a dramatic one.
The show will be scheduled at the Teatro Stabile of Naples from the 25 March to the 19 April with afternoon and evening shows.
