The exceptional self-portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci will be exhibited at the exhibition at the Diocesan Museum of Naples dedicated to the master!
In the Diocesan Museum of Naples, one has been underway for more than two months exhibition dedicated to the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci, an exhibition that should have ended at the end of March and which, instead, will be extended until 30 April 2017. Not only, because it will be enriched with a new work: theSelf-portrait of Acerenza.
It is of 'self-portrait of Leonardo, found in 2009, a work of exceptional importance. It has just been restored and gives a definitive answer to questions about the master's features. In fact, after a series of careful studies and comparisons between the signatures and writings of the artist in the previous works, it was concluded that the Table was painted by Leonardo himself and this is why it can be called a self-portrait.
Among the most important researches, studies of comparison with other his works to compare the signature and the features of writing.
Recall that in the exhibition there are also the Savior of the world, Christ Blessing, Christ Child and three precious graphic funds.
