The Tableaux Vivants return to the Diocesan Museum of Naples with 23 canvases by Caravaggio that come to life on stage!
Al Diocesan Museum of Naples the season of appointments with the splendid starts again Tableaux Vivants dedicated to masterpieces of Caravaggio. The next appointment will be8 October 2017 and the program will continue until December 30 with two dates each month.
The company of actors dedicated to this beautiful initiative will stage 23 canvases by Caravaggio, making the artist's works practically alive. On stage, the artists they will faithfully reproduce the paintings composing them, in a sort of theatricalization, using the clothes and positions of the original canvas.
The show will take place with the background of music by Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi and Sibellius, while the interior of the beautiful church of Donnaregina Nuova will frame it.
