Campania by Night is the review of events and nocturnal visits that will take you to discover the ancient archaeological beauties of the region!

From July to 27 17 September 2016, Campania by Night it will be the great opportunity to visit the most important archaeological sites in our region.

The company of the Campania Region Scabec, in fact, is launching a program to re-evaluate the cultural heritage of our land. Five sites involved from this initiative: i Ruins of Pompeii, Excavations of Herculaneum, the Roman Villa of Minori, the Archaeological Park of Paestum and the Museum of Villa Arbusto in Ischia.

All visits will be made by twilight and will be accompanied by performances and shows specially designed for the occasion. Guided tours and audio guides will be provided where required to illustrate the history of these magnificent places.

In addition, the excavations of Herculaneum and Pompeii until October are open Saturday night at 2 euro 

Campania by Night program

Excavations of Herculaneum
Wednesday and Sunday until September 14

Spectacular guided tour "The nights of Pliny, the last hours of Hercolaneum“, Suggestive illuminated path with stages ai Fornici, to the Nonio Balbo Terrace, To Casa dei Cervi.  You will then access the Female Baths and its environments, and will continue until the Sacello degli Augustali.
There are four visiting shifts starting at 20.30.

Ruins of Pompeii
Thursday and Friday until the 16 September

Night walk through the excavations, visit to the recently restored Domus like the Octavius ​​Quartio and the Venus in Conchiglia. Visit to the Great Gym and possibility to admire the shows Egypt-Pompeii. In the Arena of Artecard you can attend dance shows with international guests.
Four rounds of visits starting at 20.30.

Villa Arbusto in Ischia
Saturday until September 17

Walk among the oldest Greek ruins in Italy, visit the museum and the chance to attend the musical review "Old Song, New Sound". It will be inaugurated with a solo piano concert by jazz player Francesco D'Errico, but the review will continue until September with other appointments.

Roman Villa in Maiori
From 30 July to 1 August from 26 to 28 August

It's the turn of music with three great concerts. We start with the piano concert "Costiera degli Dei, Summer MasterClass2016" on July 30th, while on Sunday July 31st it is the turn of the Grand Lyric Concert of the Canto Masterclass Students. On 1 August at 21.30 pm Felice Romano in concert with the show “The history of Italian music between pop and jazz”. From 26 to 28 August, however, there will be the twenty-year edition of Gusta Minori.
