The best of many previous performances will enrich the New Year's concert of the Nuova Scarlatti Orchestra broadcast on TV and online!
This year the New Year's concert of the New Scarlatti Orchestra of Naples will air on Channel 21 and online on the evening of January 1, 2021 at 20.00 pm, to cheer up and give hope to everyone after such a complicated and delicate year.
The evening will be a way to relive the best moments of New Year's concerts in recent years which took place in the Mediterranean Theater of the Mostra d'Oltremare with many important guests. We will be able to experience great emotions and fun moments that have enriched us from 2017 to 2020.
The New Year's concert: many exciting moments
Thanks to this anthology we will be able to attend the talent of many artists who have succeeded on the stage of the theater. There will be virtuoso music of the violinist from Salerno Gennaro Cardaropoli, protagonist of the Spanish dance of De Falla, music Coloured of The Sound of Music directed by Luigi De Filippi with an unreleased ballet offstage, an original version of Monti's Csárdás, the Polke of the Strauss directed by Beatrice Venezi.
There will be no lack of performances by Naomi Rivieccio, much loved by the public, ranging from rock to pop, performing with soprano talent for Olympia from Offenbach's Hoffmann Tales and in a beautiful rap interpretation of Look At Me Now by Chris Brown. Also in the lineup is the swing version of Tu vuo 'fa' l'americano, Cicerenella and a collage by Marcia di Radetzky from New Years 2017, 2019 and 2020. Instead, on New Year's Eve 2018 the much-loved encore of "Neapolitan Radetzky" 'O surdato' nnammurato, sung by Naomi Rivieccio and Stefano Sorrentino, the Nuova Scarlatti Orchestra conducted by Gianna Fratta.
