At Soccavo in Naples we celebrate the 2018 Carnival with masked parades, music and lots of fun for everyone
Napoli prepares to welcome the celebrations on the occasion of Carnival 2018. In fact, there will be many cities that will welcome floats and masked parades. Among these there is also the neighborhood soccavo that Tuesday February 13 2018 will host the fifth edition of the Social Carnival.
As in all past editions, this year the Carnival will have a very specific theme, namely that of fire. In fact the name of the event is “MAGMAMIAAA! O FFUOCO! " to remember the fires that in the summer of 2017 were set by criminals on Vesuvius, Camaldoli, Astroni and the Roma camp in Scampia. While magma represents people and the struggles they have undertaken for work, education, health and all common goods.
The parade will start Tuesday morning at 10: 30. THE construction laboratories for the masks, clothes, hats and wagon will be held every day until 13 February 2018.
