Sarnese Carnival 2024: parades, masks and fun for everyone

Also this year the colorful and fun appointment with the Sarnese Carnival which will allow you to spend special days full of fun and parades.

As per tradition, all the associations of the city of Sarno involved in the organization of the Carnival will give life to costume parties and parades. It will start on January 28th with the first parade and will continue until Tuesday 13th February 2024. In particular, there will be four parades scheduled with the allegorical floats which will be accompanied by masked dancing groups.

The program

Here the program of the Sarnese Carnival 2024:

21 January

• Press Conference at 10 am in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Sarno

28 January

• Carnival presentation. The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:00 am at the local market, immediately after the departure with the floats and participants in the direction of Via Matteotti. 18pm presentation of the Carnival in the hamlets of Lavorate, Episcopio, Foce. In case of bad weather the day will be made up on February 00rd.

February 4

• Neighborhood party. 10:00 meeting in front of the police station where the parade will begin. In the afternoon each wagon will travel a route based on the neighborhood it belongs to.

February 11

• Children's party. The Golden Mask will take place from 09am in Piazza 30 Maggio. In the square there will be street artists, jugglers and horses and many other attractions for children.

February 12

• Carnival in music and colors. From 18 pm performance of the dance groups of their respective allegorical floats in Piazza 00 Maggio with Veronica Maya. The evening will continue with an outdoor disco together with the DJ Set and Holi Festival.

February 13

• Grand Final Parade. Starting from 16 pm at the F. Squitieri sports field, the parade of allegorical floats will start heading towards the city center.

10 March

• Lottery draw. 10am draw to award the lottery prizes.
