The big appointment with the 2019 Carnival in Striano is back for four days of pure fun between allegorical floats and shows.
From 2 to 5 March 2019 to Striano, in the province of Naples, the 2019 Carnival is celebrated with the traditional ones papier-maché wagons who will parade through the city with their allegorical puppets, fruit of the imagination and commitment of local tankers. It will be a very engaging opportunity for everyone to happily celebrate the carnival with many shows dance and fancy parties.
In Striano, Carnival represents the most heartfelt holiday of the year, it is in fact an event that strongly involves the citizens who prepare themselves every year with great commitment to buildand the papier-maché carriages are spectacular and magnificent choreography. For the occasion in fact five districts of the city (Arco, Marzo, Piazza, Saudone and Troccole) compete in one breathtaking parade.
The first cart of papier mache was made in 1981 and depicted the Trojan horse. From that moment on, the Strianese carnival has become a very important event for the whole city.

Saturday March 2 2019
- 15: 00: As usual there will be an opening ceremony at Via Farricella that will open the celebrations of the 36 edition of the Strianese Carnival.
- 15 hours: 30 As for magic Rione Arco, Rione Marzo, Rione Piazza, Rione Saudone and Rione Troccole will give life to their masks and between sounds, dances and choreography will begin the parade of the giant papier-mâché allegorical floats in a ring circuit in the area Via Farricella - Green Park.
- 19 Hours: 00: The allegorical wagons completed the circuit will hold in Via Farricella and the performances of the dance bodies will begin.
- 20 hours: 30: guest.
Sunday March 3 2019
- 10 Hours: 00 Animated characters, inflatable rides and streamers will enliven the children's day at the Via Farricella carnival area.
- 15: 00: Wagons, streamers and confetti return to parade along the Via Farricella ring route - Green Park.
- 19 Hours: 00: The allegorical wagons completed the circuit will hold in Via Farricella and the performances of the dance bodies will begin.
- 20 Hours: 00: Guest.
Monday March 4 2019
- 18 Hours: 00: The five dance schools will perform the choreography created for the Strianese Carnival 2019
- 19: 30: The wagons return to parade along the Via Farricella-Via Sarno-Parco Verde ring route the third masked course will begin.
Tuesday March 5 2019
- 15:00 pm: the parade of gigantic papier-mâché works within the ring circuit Via Farricella - Parco Verde
- 19 Hours: 00 The allegorical wagons completed the circuit will be in Via Farricella and the dance performances will begin.
- 21 Hours: 30: Guest
