Christian De Sica, the famous and beloved "mattatore" of Italian comedy and theater, chose Naples and the stage of the Teatro di San Carlo to present his brand new musical show inspired by Christmas and his new album entitled Merry Christian, released last November 24.
The one of Wednesday 27 December 2017, at the height of the Christmas holidays, will be the only date in which you can attend Christian tells Christian De Sica, a mega concert that will lead the audience in a musical journey among the most beautiful Christmas songs, but also among the greatest hits of Christian De Sica's repertoire, plus four songs taken from his new album.
The Christmas songs of "Merry Christian" and tributes to Neapolitan music
In the splendid setting of the Massimo Partenopeo Christian De Sica will perform in some wonderful songs of Neapolitan music in swing and ballad key, as Tell Me About Love Mariù e Lacreme Napulitane, passing through the most famous Christmas songs, like White Christmas e Have Yourself at Merry Little Christmas e Star of the sky, all accompanied by one large orchestra composed of 52 elements.
Some Christmas songs have been rewritten for the occasion and translated, with intent also ironic, like Walking in the fantasy (that would Winter Wonderland), Santa Claus will come tomorrow, it's the same White Christian which gives the name to the album.
