In the splendid setting of the Maschio Angioino in Naples, the Cento Guitarre concert will be held as part of the European Music Festival
The evening of Thursday 21 June 2018 the Maschio Angioino in Naples will host a great concert of one hundred guitars with guitarists of all ages from all over Italy, the event will be opened by Fanfare of the 10 ° Regiment of the Carabinieri of Campania which will welcome the public at the entrance to the castle. The event will take place at the first light of the evening, starting at 18,30 pm with the opening of the fanfare and continuing at 19,00 pm with the Concerto Cento Chitarre.
The concert is organized by the AEMAS Academy (European Academy of Music and Performing Arts) which will allow young guitarists from all over the country to perform and open the International Chamber Music Competition. The spectacular event is dedicated this year to the figure of Ferdinando Carulli, the great guitarist and composer of Neapolitan origins.
The event is part of the rich program of concerts that will take place in the city as part of the European Music Festival 2018, ie the great festival that includes a very long series of free concerts that will take place from 17 to 21 June 2018 in various cities of Italy, including Naples.
