Our tips on what to do in Naples for the 2017 Christmas Party with many fun and delicious events!
The new year is just beginning and immediately welcomes us, as always, with one of the most anticipated events for all children, the Feast of the Befana. The night of the 6 January 2017in fact, the nice old woman will arrive in all the houses of Napoli, giving the little ones lots of sweets, for an unforgettable Epiphany in the name of gluttony.
Even in the city, however, there will be many events to celebrate the arrival of the Befana and the day will be full of fun initiatives in which to celebrate, eat sweets and candies, take guided tours and participate in games and amazing shows.
The first appointment is in Piazza del Plebiscito, with the traditional festival organized by the Municipality in which the Befana will descend from above and will give candy to the little ones. Also on the Lungomare there will be a party, with many Befane and street artists, besides water shows. In a more scientific key, the City of Science will offer both an educational and playful program, while at Castel Sant'Elmo there will be an interesting, and delicious, guided tour.
But the events continue at the Agnano Hippodrome with pony races, at the Toledo Gallery with the Soap Bubble Circus, at the Pietrarsa Museum with the Epiphany Mandulinata and with many other initiatives that we list below!
Feste della Befana
Feast of the Epiphany in Piazza Plebiscito
Every year the great Befana Festival takes place in Piazza del Plebiscito with the Pompieropoli village and the arrival of the Befana from above who will distribute free candies to all children.

Befana on N'Albero
On the occasion of the Epiphany, N'Albero will also welcome the Befana who will arrive aboard a jet ski bringing sweets to the children. There will also be workshops, games and there will be entertainment and lots of music with Radio Kiss Kiss.

Befana in Città della Scienza
At Città della Scienza the program will be fun and educational. There will be juggling shows, waders, soap bubbles, tastings of science, chemistry experiments and much more.

Befana at Castel Sant'Elmo
An event entirely dedicated to children with a guided tour embellished by the presence of Befana who will donate sweets to the good children and coal (naturally sweetened) to those more naughty.

Befane on the waterfront
Also this year there will be the Befane event on the Lungomare that will entertain adults and children with games, street artists and water shows.

Epiphany in Pietrarsa
At the Pietrarsa Museum there will be both the event Un Museo da Favola and the "Mandulinata d'Epifania" with singing traditions and melodies of Naples that once was.

Befana at the Agnano Hippodrome
A great party of the Befana will animate the Agnano Hippodrome, with many creative workshops for children, games, pony rides, make-up, dances, puppet theater and, of course, many sweet desserts.

BEEFana Street Fest
In Casoria there will be the BEEFana Street Fest event with shows, music and many food stands, but also events for children with rides and inflatable. Everything will be enriched by jugglers, clowns and cabarets, like the show of the likeable Lino D'Angiò.

Fergola exhibition
Salvatore Fergola was the last painter of the period of the Bourbon Kingdom and the exhibition dedicated to him displays 63 paintings and canvases that come from various museums in Naples. They immortalize some fundamental moments in the history of Naples.

Dancing fountains

N'Albero on the waterfront
At the Rotonda Diaz you can continue to climb the 40 meters of N'Albero and admire the Gulf with the telescopes on top. In addition, there is the shopping arcade to visit and you have the option of eating in the restaurant or bar.

Salerno 3D video mapping
