Armed security guards on Cumana and Circumvesuviana to ensure safety on trains in summer 2017!
On the Circumvesuviana Cumana of Naples increases safety on board thanks to the new train surveillance service. For all summer 2017, there will be armed security guards that will move inside the convoys and in the stations to protect travelers, especially in this period in which the tourist influx increases considerably.
The extraordinary interventions will take place over the weekend and will be used by prevent acts of vandalism, hooliganism, snatching, thefts and episodes of petty crime. Particular attention will be paid especially to trains traveling to the Sorrento Peninsula and to the Flegreo Coast.

On the Naples-Sorrento line, the security guards will serve Saturday, Sunday and August from 16.00 am to 21.00 pm and will be flanked by administrative police personnel who will check travelers' tickets. In the same period, there will be armed guards who will be at the stations of Lucrino and Torregaveta.

Also until September 10 and at the same times, will be guarded with armed security guards Lucrino and Torregaveta stations. Also in this case, the administrative police will make their contribution to monitor the stations.
