The Music and Vinyl Fair, Discodays 2018, returns to the Palapartenope of Naples!
The 12 and 13 May 2018 the event returns DiscoDays at the Palapartenope in Naples, which promotes listening and dissemination of music in all its forms.
An interesting disc and music fair that this year will blow out twenty candles and to celebrate this important milestone will publish the his first Compilation strictly in Vinyl.
The album, entitled DISCODAYS XX is a double limited edition collection vinyl of 300 only numbered copies by hand with the songs of the artists awarded in these years. Among them Jovine, Foja, James Senese and 99 Posse, leading artists of Italian music and all of Neapolitan origin.
It is possible to pre-purchase the album online at the special price of 17,50 euro which includes admission to the DiscoDays review.
Events and exhibitions
Discodays Award to Renzo Rubino
The artist from Taranto will receive the DiscoDays award on Saturday 12 May - 19.30 pm - for the realization and distribution of an original musical production on vinyl, to promote the diffusion and listening of this unique and irreplaceable support.
Showcase Live
On the stage of the Casa Della Musica will perform: SABBA: the winner of the TV show “The Winner Is” will present his first single “Sparami”; TARTAGLIA ANEURO will present the album “Oltre” released for iCompany, FERRANIACOLOR: the former Panoramics will present the ep “Alfabeto Illustrato” published by the Maxsound label; SIMONE SPIRITO will present the album “Eppur Simone” published by Polosud records; LELLO TRAMMA (PALKOSCENICO) will present the debut solo album on the Vibrartsound label and NEVRUZ will present the album “My name is nobody” published by Molto recordings.
“About 1968” is the title of the exhibition curated by COVERGREEN.
Dj set "I love Frankie knuckles"
On the occasion of "I Love Frankie Knuckles", the day dedicated to the official "inventor" of House Music, DiscoDays will host a marathon-Dj in which many historical DJs from central and southern Italy will perform with a console composed of two Technics 1210s to honor the historical figure of Frankie Knuckles.
Art exhibition About the 1968
A 50 years from the 1968 events and from the Summer of Love, sarà dedicata una mostra ai dischi più importanti di quell’anno, a cura di Covergreen. Sarà presentata con un incontro moderato dallo scrittore, giornalista e critico musicale Donato Zoppo e ci saranno proiezioni e pannelli informativi su usi e costumi di quell’epoca.
