Here we are at Carnival weekend with the many events themed or not that will make you have fun from 1 to 3 March 2019 in Naples.
First of all, there are the free museums on Sunday and is just a preview of the other days in the week when the places of culture are free. In the city there are still various exhibitions that are enjoying great success in recent months, such as the one on Escher and the one on Chagall, but there are plenty of theatrical performances like the one with Pierfranscesco Favino andHenry IV of Pirandello.
On the three days of the weekend there are, as mentioned, many Carnival parties with fashion shows, games and colors. The most lively districts are the Vomero, Soccavo, Scampia, but there are also events in Maiori and Ercolano.

Free museums in Naples Sunday 3 March and from 5 to 10 March 2019: a week of free entries
The new decree of the Minister of Culture Alberto Bonisoli introduces a nice novelty, also for the museums of Naples and Campania. In fact, in addition to the first Sundays of free admission, it also provides various other days of free admission for a total of 20 days a year. This month, as usual, the ticket will not be paid on Sunday 3 March 2019, but also from 5 to 10 March there will be free admissions in all museums.
