The new year is officially in full swing and we want to immediately advise you on the best ones free events in Naples in weekend of 6, 7 and 8 January 2017.
This is also the weekend of the Epiphany and in the city there will be many events with the nice Epiphany, like the traditional appointment in Piazza Plebiscito the one on the Lungomare with the Dancing fountains.
If, on the other hand, you want to dive into cultural events, you cannot miss the Fergola exhibition at Palazzo Zevallos and admire the splendid paintings by the last court painter or you can participate in the guided tour of the Reggia di Carditello.
The shows with the water games of the fountains will also be at the Royal Palace of Caserta, while in Salerno there will be an interesting projection of video mapping in 3D. In the whole of Campania, then, continue the Living Cribs with their fascinating choreography.

Fergola exhibition
Sunday 8 January, the exhibition by Salvatore Fergola, al Zevallos Stigliano Palace, will be open for free and will be an excellent opportunity to admire the paintings oflast painter of the court of the Bourbons, vedutist and romantic, who knew how to portray the views of Naples, the Vesuvius, the games at the Royal Palace of Caserta and the first inaugurations of the railway lines of the Kingdom.

Presepiale Art Exhibition at Castel dell'Ovo
A few more days to visit the Crib Art Exhibition at Castel dell'Ovo in which the important cribs are exposed Neapolitan artisans, which make these achievements unique thanks to the attention to detail and structural details.

Living Nativity in the Spanish Quarters
In the Quartieri Spagnoli there will be an original show that involves the creation of a living nativity scene, accompanied by lots of music and scrapped tombola. There will also be the taste markets with fried pizzas and a guided tour of the Church of Santa Maria della Mercede.

Guided tour of the Royal Palace of Carditello
After many years of closure and a series of restoration works, you can visit the Reggia di Carditello for free thanks to guided tours on the first floor and outside, scheduled every Sunday.

Epiphany in Naples
Befane on the waterfront
The Befane event is back on the waterfront, especially to entertain children on the day of the Epiphany. In addition to the nice old woman, there will be many buskers, jugglers and artisans, and you can watch the show of the Dancing fountains.

Feast of the Epiphany in Piazza Plebiscito
It is the traditional event in the square during which the Befana will descend from above to donate sweets to all the children and there will be a big party animated by the Firemen's Fanfare. In addition, a minivillaggio set up by the Fire Department to teach, in a fun way, the safety of children.

Living cribs in Naples and Campania
