Feast of the white fig of Cilento: the tasty fruit in many characteristic dishes

An appointment not to be missed a Reach, a country of province of Salerno, on the occasion of the sixth edition of the highly anticipated Feast of the White Fig of Cilento which will take place from 20 to 24 August 2022.

The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Giungano and in particular it will be the San Giuseppe district to welcome the event, thanks to which for four days you will have the opportunity to taste this tasty fruit in many traditional dishes.

Delicacies, music and fun

The Cilento white fig festival it will be the right occasion to celebrate one of the delicacies of the local tradition. The Cilento White Fig will be the protagonist of every dish that will be carefully prepared during the event, from the first courses to the dessert, without obviously forgetting the exquisite fig liqueur.

In the menu that will be proposed there will be:

• ham and figs
• fusilli with tomato sauce or with fig sauce
• sausage with fig sauce
• simple fried pizzas, with fig sauce or jam
• the crepes with ham and figs
• seasonal fruit
• fig liqueur and lots of sweets.
