Da Friday 20 to Monday 23 August 2021, in Municipal Villa of Castel Campagnano the second edition of the Snail festival, a special occasion to know all the curiosities about these small animals.
The festival is organized by the Masseria Picone, belonging to the Marra family, which has always been involved in snail breeding and in the export of snail-based cosmetics and food products, in collaboration with the Bukowski coffee and with the patronage of Coldiretti Campania and the municipality.
Second edition of the Snail Festival
The second edition of the Snail Festival will take place in the municipal villa of Castel Campagnano, which will allow you to learn about all the benefits from both the cosmetic and food point of view of the precious snail drool.
During the event you can take part in guided tours to the helicopters that will start from 18:30. They will be set up food stands where you can taste different dishes based on snails, such as first courses, pizza, omelettes, salami and much more. There will also be different menus for those who don't want to taste snails.
Then again, cosmetic products based on snail slime will be exhibited, famous for their moisturizing and antioxidant action. You can buy snail flour, sauces, liqueur and many other products.
