An initiative not to be missed in Naples, in fact the Sight Days organized by the Foundation OneSight EssilorLuxottica Italy. It is an independent non-profit organization that provides the opportunity, a specific categories, access to quality eye care and glasses.
And so, from Monday 20 to Friday 31 March 2023 eye examinations and free glasses will take place in Naples for frail people with visual defects.
In particular, starting from 15:00 at the Federico Ozanam Institute, in Rione Sanità, there will be the inauguration of the initiative with the Councilor for Health of the Municipality of Naples, Vincent Santagada and of the Honorable Marta Schifone.
At the event which is organized in collaboration with the Community of Sant'Egidio the Diocesan Caritas of Naples, the Order of Malta, Walk together and the Rione Sanità Foundation also participate.
OneSight: The Foundation
OneSight, as already mentioned, it is an organization that was born with the aim of helping people access eye care, thus fighting the global eye care crisis.
For this very reason, for 35 years, OneSight has worked with local health organizations, as well as governments, school districts, industry leaders, doctors and volunteers, to help more than 9 million people in 46 different countries. In May 2022 the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, LuxOptic in fact, it actively supports OneSight by supplying frames and engaging around 23 people between doctors and employees.
