This is the sixth edition of the Mediterranean Pride of Naples (MpoN), as well as the twelfth edition of gay pride of Naples (the first was held in the 1996).

Past 25 years since the first Italian gay pride, which was celebrated in Rome in the 1994, the Mediterranean Pride of Naples will follow the Roma Pride and anticipate by a week the World Pride of New York, which will be held on June 29.
