From the 1 February Several things have changed about the obligation to show the Green Pass to access various activities and services, of course this also applies to Naples.
Specifically, from 1 February, obligations for the basic Green Pass were introduced to be able to enter shops, tobacconists and use various services such as post offices and banks.
Let's see everything in detail: when you need the Green Pass Base, when the Enhanced and when no certification is required.
Basic Green Pass requirement
The basic Green Pass can also be obtained only with a negative swab, both molecular and rapid, as well as with the vaccine or recovery from Covid. It must be exhibited, until June 15, for:
- public offices
- Post and postal services
- Banks and financial services
- INPS
- shops and commercial activities, except those of primary necessity
- hairdressers
- tobacconists
- beauty salons
- shopping centers
- public offices such as Municipalities, Provinces and Regions
- libraries
- newsstands indoors
Reinforced Green Pass obligation
The Super Green Pass or Enhanced Green Pass is obtained with the successful vaccination or recovery from Covid. In practice it is not the valid one after doing the rapid or molecular swab.
From 10 January it is mandatory for:
- local and regional means of transport such as bus and metro;
- indoor restaurants and bars;
- theaters;
- cinema;
- concert halls;
- discos;
- stages;
- feasts resulting from civil or religious ceremonies;
- festivals and fairs;
- hotels and other accommodation facilities;
- convention centers;
- outdoor restaurants;
- tourist ski lifts even if they are located in ski areas;
- gyms;
- swimming pools and swimming centers
- team sports and wellness centers even if they are outdoors;
- Museums;
- Libraries and archives;
- Cultural centers
- Spas
- Recreation centers for outdoor activities;
- social centers;
- game rooms;
- bingo halls;
- casino;
- public parties and ceremonies.
Where the Green Pass is not needed
As mentioned, you will not have to show for the shops of primary necessity, so for:
- supermarkets;
- grocery stores;
- pharmacies;
- parapharmacies;
- opticians;
- outdoor newsstands;
- petrol stations and fuel outlets;
- stores with pet products;
- shops with products for household items.
Obligations for over 50s
In decree of January 5 is in force, from February 15th to June 15th:
- the obligation of Super Green Pass in the workplace for over 50 workers. This applies to both the public and private sectors;
Instead from 8 January until 15 June:
- the obligation of vaccination for non-working over 50s.
Exemptions:
- the fifty-year-olds for whom a health hazard is ascertained, in relation to specific documented conditions, must not follow the obligation. They must always have been first ascertained by the doctor.
The penalties:
- workers who show up without Super Green Pass are considered unjustified absent and will be suspended without pay after 5 absences. The replacement is for 10 days renewable until March 31st;
- who goes to work without the enhanced Green Pass must pay a fine that goes by 600 1.500 in euros, the amount is doubled in case of relapse;
- 100 euro one-off for those over 50 who do not comply with the vaccination obligation.
Green Pass for arrivals from EU countries without a buffer
Those arriving in Italy from EU countries simply show the Green Pass, both basic and reinforced, without making a new swab upon arrival. This rule is always valid from February 1st to March 15th.
Duration of the Green Pass
From 1 February, the Reinforced Green Pass will be valid 6 months and no more 9 months. Instead, the Basic Green Pass which is obtained with a hard pad:
- 48 hours for quick swabs;
- 72 hours for molecular swabs
For those who have the 3 dose of vaccine, the duration of the Green Pass will be unlimited until decisions about a possible 4 dose are made.
