 Ischia Film Festival 2017, events and projections of the international film competition at the Aragonese Castle!

From the 24 June to the 1º July 2017 will host the XV edition of the competition “Ischia Film Festival” in the Aragonese Castle of Ischia, in the Cathedral of the Assumption and in the Piazzale delle Arms.

Le four categories will be competing (feature films, documentaries, short films and Location Negata), eleven countries present from four continents, sixty Italian works and twelve women directors.

The artistic directors Michelangelo Messina and Boris Sollazzo have done a lot of work to decide the titles of the films that would take part in the competition but let's see together what the festival program foresees.

  • 19:30 pm “Film Cocktail”, meeting reserved for professional accredited persons at the Aragonese Castle
  • 20:30 pm Inauguration of a photographic exhibition
  • 21 Hours: 00 Screening of a short film in the presence of the author at the Cathedral of the Assumption
  • 21 pm Screening of the Works in Competition and of the works of the special sections in the Terrace of the Sun, in the Terrace of the Olives and in the Bourbon Prison of the Aragonese Castle of Ischia
  • 21 Hours: 15 Screening of a feature film in the early evening at the Piazzale delle Armi
  • 21 pm “Let's talk about Cinema” The authors of the selected works meet the public at the Cathedral of the Assumption
  • 22:00 Screening of a feature film at the Cathedral of the Assumption
  • 23 Hours: 00 Screening of a feature film in the late evening at the Piazzale delle Armi

  • 21 Hours: 00 Screening of the winning works of the festival at the Piazzale delle Armi. Free admission.
  • 20: 30 Closure of the XV edition of the Ischia Film Festival at the Cathedral of the Assumption.
    Gala evening for the awarding of the works in competition of the XNUMXth edition of the IFF International Award.
