The evocative Cantata dei Pastori returns to the Domus Ars in Naples with free admission!
From January 4 6 2018 to will be on stage Cantata dei Pastori of Carlo Faiello alla Domus Ars of Naples, after the success of Christmas shows.
They will take place two daily shows (at 12 and 18) in one version free entry, special tourist, that is Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days, to give everyone the opportunity to attend one of the typical concerts of the Neapolitan Christmas tradition, written for the late seventeenth-century religious theater, where the birth of Jesus is represented.
The set-up is minimal and essential to give greater prominence to the content of the work that unfolds between songs by Carlo Faiello, parts recited in Italian, music by Roberto De Simone, traditional songs, the Ave Maria by Fabrizio De Andrè, sacred songs of S. Alfonso Maria De Liguori and much more.
La Cantata is a mixed work of sacred representation, singing and pastoral drama in which cultured elements coexist with others typical of the commedia dell'arte. A suggestive form to stage the eternal struggle between good and evil.
