Finally, after two years of hiatus, the highly anticipated appointment with the Festival of the PGI artichoke which as per tradition takes place in Capaccio Paestum.
In particular, the event will take place for seven days, or the 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 April and 1 May 2022 in Borgo Gromola square.
It will be one of the largest food and wine events that will take place in Campania for the festival season, with about 50 exhibitors that will offer guests the best of their production.
Artichoke-based dishes and goodness
At the Paestum PGI artichoke festival you can taste and buy lots of goodness, there will in fact be artichoke-based dishes, such as:
- roasted artichokes with risotto
- golden and fried artichokes
- caciocavallo hanged with artichoke cream
- Sandwiches with sausage and artichokes
It will therefore be an excellent opportunity to taste these and many other dishes based on Artichoke IGP from Paestum, an exquisite product with a thousand beneficial properties.
There will be many tastings and opportunities to buy artisanal products. Also scheduled is a meeting really interesting on the Mediterranean diet.
Musical concerts and entertainment
The event will also feature seven musical concerts, there will be the participation of the singer Gigione and several popular music concerts with groups of pizzica, tarantella and folkloristic dances.
