The beautiful Villa Floridiana located in Vomero finally reopens to the public: you can go walking inside the park again!

Starting from Wednesday 21 April 2021, after the opening of Real Bosco di Capodimonte and Gardens of the Royal Palace, even the beautiful Villa Floridiana of Vomero, in Naples, reopens and can finally welcome citizens.

During this closure to the public, inside the Villa Floridiana a series of have been started jobs for reordering and the park maintenance. These interventions concerned the cleaning of the soil from dry leaves, trunks and fallen branches, thus allowing theopening of other avenues. 

You can then go back for a walk in central avenue, in avenue of citrus fruits until you get to the flower bed area. Continuing you can reach the southern facade of the Villa and admire it breathtaking spectacle on the Gulf of Naples. 

even the Duca di Martina Museum, which is located inside the Villa, has been subjected to works that have contributed to increasing the safety of the entire building and the beautiful collections it houses. Currently though remains closed to the public.

Finally Villa Floridiana of Naples a green space dedicated to outdoor walks and to those who love to immerse themselves in nature. We remind you that you can access the Villa only from the entrance of via Cimarosa, from Monday to Sunday, except Tuesday, from 08:30 to 19:30.

During the visit, the rules to limit the infection from Coronavirus: obligation of the mask, social distancing and prohibition of gatherings.
