After very successful series dedicated to The Brilliant Friend, Netflix will devote himself to a new novel by the much loved writer Elena Ferrante making a transposition of "The lying life of adults".
It is a'work written in 2019 and whose transformation into a TV series had already been announced. The news of these last hours, however, concerns the announcement of the cast who will play the various protagonists.
It will be a cast that will sound familiar because several members have already worked on The brilliant friend. But let's see all the details together.
Who will be part of the cast
First of all, there will be again the still photographer Eduardo Castaldo and the series was written by Laura Paolucci, Francesco Piccolo and in addition Edoardo De Angelis, of course together with Elena Ferrante. The production is by Fandango.
Edoardo De Angelis will also be the director. In addition, a much loved face will return, that is the one god Giovanni Buselli who interpreted Enzo Scanno in The brilliant friend.

Episodes will be 6 and filming is scheduled to end by the end of 2022. Currently shooting between the cities of Napoli e Milano.
The plot of the book
The novel tells the story of Giovanna starting from childhood until adolescence, during the 90s. The little girl, after having lived avery happy childhood, is facing the indecisions and the sadness of adolescence, also discovering some lies, which she had always believed to be truth, of the adults around her.
Giovanna alternates between the Napoli upstairs , Napoli you sotto: two faces of the same city, contradictory and which seem unable to bear each other.
