The National Archaeological Museum of Naples proposes the Seven Statues review for seven days to present the preview of the new Campania Roman section!

Great news at MANN, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, in fact starting from June 2021 in the rooms on the ground floor, located in the western wing of the structure and which have been closed for over fifty years, the new section will be set up Campania Roman. 

Within this new section, guests will be able to observe about 200 extraordinary works which are currently kept in the deposit of the great Neapolitan Museum.

Seven statues for seven days

Precisely by virtue of the setting up of this new section, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, starting from Saturday 14 November 2020, will offer everyone the opportunity to admire seven photographs of works that will be part of the new collection, through social channels, Facebook and instagram, of the Museum.

In short, a real virtual journey, which for seven days will take you to the discovery of seven works, extraordinary masterpieces still little known, a small virtual preview waiting for June 2021.

  • 16 November 2020 image of the protome of Juno dating back to the XNUMXst century AD
  •  November 17, 2020 image of the elegant draped female figure that comes from the Forum of Herculaneum, dating back to the XNUMXst century AD
  • November 18, 2020 image of the sculpture of Olconio Rufo dating back to the XNUMXst century AD which comes from the crossroads of via Stabiana in Pompeii.
  • November 19, 2020 image of the female statue of Concordia Augusta from Pompeii, a building of Eumachia dating back to the XNUMXst century AD
