The Ottaviano Christmas markets come back with shows, exhibitions, food and wine products and crafts
The Pro Loco Ottaviano with the Patronage of the City of Ottaviano, the National Park of Vesuvius, the Council of the Campania Region, the Province of Naples and the UNPLI, organized the second edition of "Markets at the Castle " in Palazzo Mediceo of Ottaviano.
During the pre-Christmas period visitors can attend shows of various kinds: plays of lights, theatrical performances of Christmas inspiration, concerts and performances by street artists. And it does not end here. There will be 70 exhibitors in wooden huts where to buy local food and wine products and those typical of the Vesuvian handicraft.
In this area, in fact, the cult of the ancient traditional crafts, it is still very much alive and this demonstration aims to preserve these activities, which are disappearing due to industrial mechanization, and to re-evaluate the territorial heritage. For this reason, in the impressive Scuderia Medici Palace Refreshments will also be set up.
Inside the Palace it will be open for the first time a frescoed secret room where there will be an exhibition of period photographs while in the underground rooms there will be an important one lava stone painting exhibition of the famous artist Nicola Mgliozzi. One will be set up in the same space crib exhibition because, as we know, the Nativity scene is the most felt Christmas tradition in Campania.
And for the kids, from 22 to 24 it will come Santa Claus!
