Two stations of the metro line 1 of Naples will change their name, by decision of the city council.

Updated: on 17 April 2017 the name of the Secondigliano station was officially changed to "Piscinola-Scampia". In this way, the signs are made clearer, indicating that the terminus is Scampia.

Following a meeting of the Naples Municipal Council that was held yesterday 27 February 2017, two stations of the subway line 1 they will change their name.

Specifically, these are the Municipio and Piscinola-Secondigliano stations, which will slightly change their name will become respectively "Town Hall - Port of Naples"and "Piscinola-Scampia". They are certainly not radical changes, but they want to make the position of the two stops even more detailed.

The decision was unanimously taken by all present and signed by the President of the Mobility Commission Nino Simeone. Subsequently, the agenda was signed by all the board groups.
