Una good news comes from the Councilor for Transport of the Municipality of Naples and concerns thearrival of 10 new metro line 1 trains in Naples.
Edoardo Cosenza thus replied to the journalists who yesterday pressed him with questions regarding the new metro stop on October 28th. A heavy closure because it involved the entire section due to the technical breakdown of 3 trains. In fact, only 3 trains were in circulation, then stopped, out of the 6 available.
A really great damage to traffic because it caused serious inconvenience to commuters and to all travelers in Naples. Yet there is the good news about the arrival of the new trains.
When the new metro trains arrive
The Councilor said, as we read in Repubblica Napoli, that the Ministry gave its ok to probation of the new trains that were bought by Spain.
There are 10 available in the city and the experimentation should start soon. These are very long trains and with the Pbrr funds there will be some 20 in total.
With regard to the times, depending on the type of authorized experimentation and depending on whether it will be possible to proceed even during the day, the trains could arrive by the end of 2021 if everything goes well. In worst case scenario, will come to January or February 2022.
