Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April 2022, the subway line 1 of Naples will interrupt the service for several hours during the day.
The reason relates to the dynamic tests on new trains by 'sAgency National is preferably used for road and rail infrastructure safety, in fact they will have to take place in these two days to test the service of these new trains.
That's why the races to the public will be suspended from 9.30 hours 16.30.

The replacement bus lines
To remedy the inconvenience, the following replacement lines will be active:
- bus 664: (occasional): Scampia (M1) - Chiaiano (M1) - Frullone (M1) - Capodimonte - Dante (M1)
- 665B bus: (occasional): Scampia (M1) - Chiaiano (M1) - Frullone (M1) - Hospital area (M1) - Gold Medals (M1)
- consult the other buses provided on the route covering the stops of the metro line 1;

Dynamic tests on new trains
I new trains of line 1 they will be tested on the metro tracks, now several months after the fire last July, which took place during one of these dynamic tests.
It was found that the accident was not caused by a defect in the train, so these tests can be safely resumed.
It is necessary to do them during the day and of course with the free tracks and in addition to the two days of March 31 and April 1, there will also be other test days that will be announced later. Following the dynamic tests, the train will have to travel 5000 km without passengers and this will be done without interrupting the service. Subsequently, it will be able to enter service.
The new trains purchased by the Municipality
The Municipality of Naples has bought 20 trains and 4 more will be ordered. Currently, there are 8 in storage and in the Bilbao CAF plant, from which they come, there are another 10 ready to be sent to Italy.
In this way, the frequency of metro line 1 trains will be very small.
