From 22 to 26 May 2015 will vary the timetable of the 1 line of the metro to allow technical tests at the Town Hall station
The final date ofinauguration of the Piazza Municipio underground station is slipped to Saturday 23 May 2015, therefore, a few days are missing opening ceremony which will present to the citizens not only the metro, but also the entire square.
The first train departures, however, will be scheduled for the first week of June, more precisely starting from Tuesday 2 and for this reason there is a mandatory period of pre-exercise on the route.
To allow the testing of the cars and the technical tests aimed at opening the service to passengers, from 22 to 26 May 2015 there will be timetable changes on the entire section of Line 1, according to the following modalities announced by ANM.
Variation of the 1 Line timetables
- Friday May 22th: the nightly extension of the operating hours, generally expected up to 02.00 hours in the morning, is suspended. The circulation will end with last run from Garibaldi at 22.22 and from Piscinola at 23.02.
- Saturday May 23: throughout the day the circulation of trains is limited to the Dante - Piscinola section only. Also suspended the night extension of the operating hours, normally scheduled until 02.00.
- 24 Sunday of May: throughout the day, circulation is limited to the Dante - Piscinola section.
- Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 May: early suspension of the service with last run from Piscinola to 20.34 and from Garibaldi to 21.04. A final race will be carried out only for the Dante - Piscinola section towards Dante at 20.44 and from Dante towards Piscinola at 21.32
