Monte Sant'Angelo Metro: work on line 7 resumes
The Monte Sant'Angelo construction site reopens to restart work on line 7 of the Naples metro!
After 5 years of hiatus, the construction work finally resumes metro 7 line of Naples, within the university Monte Sant'Angelo.
The shipyard has reopened, but to complete the whole project, 400 million euros are needed that the President of the Region, De Luca, intends to ask the Government. At the moment, the section that enjoys funding is the one up to via Terracina.
In the 2011 they have been completed 2 km of tunnel and, with the new reopening of the construction site, the electrical systems, finishing and other infrastructures must be finished.
The rector of Federico II feels confident since, as he stated, now "the University is closer to the studentsi ".
The Monte Sant'Angelo metro
Work on the metro line 7 station at the University will be used to fine-tune the collegamento with the stops of the cumana and the 6 line of the metro, greatly improving the movements of university students who have to reach Monte Sant'Angelo often on crowded or late buses.
The exits of this metro will be two, one in the Rione Traiano and the other in the University.
Furthermore, this will be a new one art station designed by Anish Kapoor and includes the arrangement of two steel sculptures at the entrance.
