The mayor of Naples, the mayor Gaetano Manfredi, together with the Councilor for Transport Edoardo Cosenza and the General Manager of ANM Francesco Favo, at Palazzo San Giacomo announced aimportant news which concerns the transport in the city.
Indeed, starting from next September 15th, we will enhance rail transport in the city, indeed they will be added three convoys to the four that are already in circulation. With the addition of these new trains we will come to the passage of a train every 8 minutes.
In short, excellent news for all those who use means of transport every day to get around or go to work.
The other news planned
This is not the only novelty, in fact always starting from 15 September 2023, the subway line 1, the Fridays and Saturdays will extend the hours of service until 02:00, and in August the pedestrian exits will be open for St James and Medina.
In addition, a DAS system, thanks to which the entire route of the metro line 1 will present the Wi-Fi with four operators. Finally, be will be installedn 62 machines for purchasing tickets and the stops at the Management Center and at the Courts will be open.
