Every Sunday, starting from 1 May 2015, the Rione Sanità di Napoli will become the protagonist of the suggestive guided tour of the "Holy Mile".
Until October 31 2015 the tour, organized by the La Paranza cooperative, will immerse citizens and tourists in the beauties and secular traditions of ancient Naples. A journey along a mile, through the prestigious heritage held in the Health District where, even today, customs and customs are more alive than ever.
An exclusive visit, this, which will bring to light the Neapolitan magnificence present above and below ground: starting From Catacombs of San Gennaro al Cemetery of the Fontanelle, from the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità al Palazzo Sanfelice and then conclude the marvelous review with the artistic, historical and cultural masterpieces of the Borgo delle Vergini and of Porta San Gennaro.
Moreover, on the occasion of the 2015 Expo, the special version of the Miglio Sacro will also celebrate the renowned culinary tradition, proposing two tasty stages dedicated to the best recipes of Neapolitan street food. Two stops between one visit and the other, which will delight the participants with the "Taralli and Pagnottielli of the Rione Sanità" and the beloved Neapolitan "Cuoppo".
