The Municipality of Naples has organised, in view of the approaching arrival in the Campania capital of Papa Francescophotographic exhibition by the talented Anna Camerlingo, entitled "Dario Fo, Francesco lu Santo Jullare".

The exhibition, which will be set up in the Carlo V Hall in Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) tells, through about 40 images in black / white and color, the various stages of preparation and staging of the theatrical show Francesco lu Santo Jullare, written and interpreted by the Nobel Prize Dario Fo, recorded and broadcast on TV last year at the Rai headquarters in Naples.

From the images we can see an intimate portrait of the actor, busy, making use of the precious help of his assistants, in rewriting this work that had already been realized fifteen years before, but which now comes contextualized in the times of Papa Francesco, considered by Fo as a man with a reforming spirit, in line with the religious experience of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Furthermore, the photographic story immortalizes it the meeting between two generations, that of Dario Fo and the other of the artist Mika, united by a single artistic end: cultural stimulation.

The press conference that will inaugurate the event will be held Saturday 14 March at 11.00, attended by the councilor Daniele, the director of the production center Rai of Naples Francesco Pinto and the photographer Anna Camerlingo.
