The Mother Museum of Naples opens its doors to the public free of charge on Boxing Day 2017!
Il 26 December 2017 il Mother Museum of Naples offers free admission for everyone, giving anyone the opportunity to visit his permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.
Among current exhibitions not to be missed there is the one entitled Pompeii @ Mother. Archaeological matter which exposes an original point of view on the link between classical and contemporary art, through a detailed analysis of the finds of the Archaeological excavations of Pompeii and the documents of modern experimental research.
In the other rooms, however, you can always visit the exhibitions that are part of the "To_form a collection" project, started in 2013 with the aim of gradually widening the permanent collection of the Mother Museum. There are works of many contemporary artists, also Neapolitans, that we advise not to lose.
A Santo Stefano dedicated to art, therefore, thanks to the free admission to the Madre Museum, but also at the festive opening of the other museums in the city.
