The full program of events, fairs and 2013 Christmas markets in Naples is already ready
Il Christmas is already almost at the door and the City of Naples, through a press release of the junta, announces that everything is already ready to celebrate this holiday. Events, fairs, markets, shows: there will be many scheduled appointments for all citizens.
The numbers say a lot: the fairs will be more than 60, the operators involved at least 2000 e 27 neighborhoods that will host the events. All this will become reality thanks to the intense work carried out in collaboration with the municipalities, as explained by the Councilor for Labor and Productive Activities Enrico Panini. The municipality, in fact, started planning the works as early as August.
For this Christmas the "Made in Naples“: All the actors involved did their best to ensure that all places could best represent what each neighborhood can offer to citizens, through its history, its traditions and its culture.
Lights, colors, markets: Naples will show itself to the public in its full beauty also thanks to the collaboration between the Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce, for which numerous streets will be illuminated. The historic street of San Gregorio Armeno, with the skill of its craftsmen, and the fair of San Biagio dei Librai, will offer many opportunities to experience the historic Neapolitan nativity scene, both for citizens and tourists.
Furthermore, you can visit the city galleries, such as the Umberto gallery and the Galleria Principe di Napoli, which will be the protagonists of a fusion between art and craftsmanship. In addition, this year, for the first time, the shopkeepers in decumani they will be able to exhibit their products at fairs.
The Municipality has also announced that a Services Conference will be convened in a few days to ensure that the places and structures that will host the events are adequate, so we will proceed to sweeping and the cleaning of the exhibition areas, the city decorum and useful information on the times and methods of waste delivery, as well as detailed information on safety, livability and mobility.
As for the fairs, they will be open public tenders in the coming days, published on the institutional website of the Municipality.
All this allows us to lay the foundations for the preparations for Christmas 2014 as, as stated by the councilor, we will have to start taking the first steps as early as January, so as to be ready as early as the first days of June.
