Otello returns to the stage at the San Carlo Theater in Naples, a whole week of appointments with an opera classic!
30 from November to December 6 2016 there is the Otello in programming at San Carlo Theater of Naples.
The opera by Gioacchino Rossini returns to limestone scenes of the Neapolitan theater and is a masterpiece with a tragedy ending that has enchanted millions of spectators.
The story is taken from William Shakespeare's play "Othello, or The Moor of Venice " written by the English playwright in 1603 and became famous all over the world so much so that countless interpretations have been made, some even with a final changed to a happy ending.
At the San Carlo Theater the classical opera in music in three acts and internationally renowned interpreters and collaborators will participate in this edition.
As always, the orchestra and choir of the Teatro San Carlo will accompany the staging of the opera.
