The Salernitana town of Padula is ready to host a new edition of Padula in Festa, a historical re-enactment that is renewed every year.
The evocative setting of the Charterhouse of San Lorenzo is ready to host the 23th edition of Padula in Festa for Charles V and the Omelet of the Thousand Eggs. From 8 to 10 August 2018, the town located in the province of Salerno will welcome many tourists from every corner of Campania and not just for a breathtaking event.
A few steps from the setting of theAncient Walk of the Carthusian Monks, will take place a historical re-enactment among the oldest in the area of Vallo di Diano. Each element will be based on the ultra-millennial history of the complex and on the memory of the emperor's journey Charles V to Padula in the 1535, following a long expedition carried out in Tunis.
The three days will also be an opportunity not to be missed to attend a series of interesting events musical performances, with also different protagonists buskers. Furthermore, there will be the exquisite tasting Omelet of the Thousand Eggs, authentic symbol of an entire territory.
