The Pompei Extra Moenia Festival provides free concerts and among the guests there will be the Marlene Kuntz and Almamegretta!
Il 3 and 4 September 2016 will be held on Pompeii Extra Moenia Festival in Piazza Esedra di Pompei, with lots of music in program.
After the great success of the likes of Elton John e David Gilmour, the city will host another musical event promoted by the Le Sfuriate association and supported by some local associations and by the municipal administration.
The goal of this festival is to spread a new form of culture, which goes through the universal language of music, in a location that constitutes an extraordinary historical testimony.
In the two evenings, ad free entry, both emerging music artists and historical artists will alternate Italian dub e noise-rock. The flagship groups will be i Marlene Kuntz and Almamegretta. In addition, there will be exhibition stands, debates, workshops and, to end with a flourish, on Sunday 4 September there will be thefree opening of Pompeii excavations.
Those who want to spend an exciting weekend, visiting the archaeological excavations participating in the concerts and taking advantage of a relaxing stay, will find local facilities, which will shortly be published the list, which will apply some discounted rates.
