Chestnut and porcini mushroom festival in Roccamonfina between excursions, concerts and events

Every weekend from October 1, 2022, until November 13, 2022, the Roccamonfina Chestnut and Porcini Mushroom Festival will take place, a traditional event that marks the beginning of the autumn season.

During the festival, you can taste the local delicacies, including mushrooms, chestnuts, and excellent wine, as well as participate in numerous activities from 9:30 a.m. to midnight. The program is truly packed and includes:

• tastings
• cooking show
• markets
• antique trade
• guided tours
• excursions
• shows
• animation for children

Furthermore, there will be the opportunity to experience the chestnut harvest with an expert guide who will tell you many interesting facts about the plants and animals that live in the forest, in addition to walks lasting approximately 1 hour in the heart of the historic centre of Roccamonfina,
