From 23 to 27 August 2023 at Coast of Mercato San Severino, in the province of Salerno, a new edition of the Festival of Lasagna and Costesi Meatballs. This will be the 15th edition of the event and for the occasion, stands will be set up in Piazza San Luigi Gonzaga that will allow you to taste the typical local dishes.
The event is organized both to introduce guests to the place and the typical products, but also has the purpose of raise funds for cultural and sporting activities for the boys of Costa.
What to taste at the Festival
The menu of the fifteenth edition of the Sagra a Mercato San Severino will offer for all 5 days a traditional menu, typical from Sunday lunch.
You will then have the opportunity to taste the delicious ones costly meatballs, these are simple balls of bread, cheese, parsley and small pieces of salami. The meatballs are breaded and then fried and served plain.
Then there will be Lasagna, which is cooked according to tradition and whose prolonged cooking in the oven makes it soft and truly appetizing. There will then be other dishes to taste such as the pasta and beans and stuffed sandwiches.
