A Marigliano two days of good food and conviviality with the Sagra dello gnocco in the pignatiello 2019: the proceeds go all to charity.
Saturday 11 May and Sunday 12 May 209 a Marigliano, in the province of Naples is held the tenth Gnocco festival in the pignatiello.
On the two evenings scheduled, you can enjoy not only the eponymous gnocco, strictly handmade, but also porchetta, sausage, French fries, hanging caciocavallo, fried pork.
For the thirsty you can water it with wine, beer and various drinks.
Not exactly a menu for those on a diet, but certainly suitable for those looking for joy, good humor as well as strong and genuine flavors.
The dumpling is prepared by the ladies ofAnselmi Institute of Marigliano, which hosts the event.
A bit of history. La Sagra starts from an idea of Carmela Monda and was born and developed from the 2010 thanks to the work of many volunteers. The first purpose of the event is to give concrete support to the precious work of the missionaries of the Divine Redemption.
Among the achievements that the Festival has helped to translate into reality there is a center for children and young people set up in Colombia at the Neiva shelter. The middle school built there is the result of the funds raised among the generous people of Marigliano.
This year, the funds that will be raised will go to a children's village in Medellin, also in Colombia.
