Even for the long Easter and Easter weekend there are gastronomic events and festivals do not miss a Naples and Campania.

Almost everything is mainly focused on the goodies of this holiday season and the casatiello will be one of the protagonists of these days. In fact, the famous event is back again “King Casatiello” dedicated to this fantastic rustic.à

Furthermore, in Piazza Dante, in Naples, there is the European street food festival with many typical dishes from all over Europe. In the rest of the city, however, the festival has kicked off "See Naples and then eat".

Street food village in Piazza Dante in Naples thanks to the European Market

The European Market arrives in Naples, precisely in Piazza Dante, during the Easter week. The famous square in the historic center will be transformed into an area dedicated to gastronomy and typical crafts from all over Europe, with a vast range of food and wine stands. The event is promoted by the European Market Anva and Confesercenti, and will be accessible free of charge from 7 to 10 April 2023.

From 7 April to 7 May 2023, Naples becomes the stage for a unique gastronomic experience, which combines stories, insights, show cooking, tastings and music. The review "See Naples and then Eat" was promoted and financed by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples, led by Teresa Armato.

Re Casatiello is back, the sweet Casatiello event in Monte di Procida

The famous "Re Casatiello" event and competition, dedicated to the traditional Casatiello sweet Pasquale di Monte di Procida, protected by the De.Co., is scheduled for Saturday 8 April at the Pala Pippo Coppola in Monte di Procida. To join the challenge, participants must deliver their Casatiello Dolce by 17pm on the day of the event.
